Kassiopi is a charming town situated at a small peninsula on the north-east corner of the island of Corfu, 36 km north of Corfu Town and Corfu airport. The resort is the largest village in the northeast of the island and is uniqueKassiopi Panoramic View among Corfu’s resorts in having both a very picturesque setting and a fair amount of history. 

A holiday in Kassiopi has the magnificent backdrop of Mount Pantokrator and hills covered with olive groves, vines and citrus plantations. Kassiopi started to bloom and became an important hide-away and significant port. This is proved by the fact that it has been visited by many famous personalities, such as Neronas - the King of Rome who set up the baths of Kassiopi. Most of the bays there are pebbly but there are plenty of them and they can be charmingly small and secluded. It’s easy to walk to longer beaches and bays, near Kassiopi, like Avlaki, Imerolia and Kalamionas. According to the weather, the wind, the conditions of the sea and your mood, you may choose the beaches of Agios Stephanos of Sinies, Kerassia (eastwards), Seki and Kalamaki (westwards). All of them are very close, at a distance less than 10 kilometers far from Kassiopi.

Kassiopi harbour with its little square is today the focal point of the town's social life by day and a pretty trendy place by night on the contrary has plenty of quieter Kassiopi Beachcalmer bars and restaurants, the latter a mix of tourist and traditional, with particularly good fresh fish thanks to local fishermen. There are numerous restaurants serving traditional dishes as well as Mexican, Chinese and Italian. Nightlife here is fairly lively with bars and discos providing evening entertainment. Some cafe bars for a light meal and refreshments are available on the beach, where you can enjoy your coffee or your drink having a magnificent view of the sea in Kassiopi. Although its big history,  Kassiopi combines also a wide range of  modern facilities such as waterskiing and paragliding, as well as a diving centre, where you have the opportunity for lessons and dive excursions for both adults and children ,tennis courts, swimming pools and motor boat hire. You will also see the ruins of the Byzantine castle that used to protect the town and its port and was guarding the sea route from Corfu to the opposite coast.
